However it's only recently within the past 100 years that mankind's medical and scientific knowledge is catching up with it's hopes and dreams to live indefinitely. Mankind is now at the precipice of realizing these hopes and dreams.My name is John Willsey and I too have thought about life extension and anti-aging, but always thought it was something that may be too far away for me to realize. However within the past 20 years as I've heard about advancements in anti-aging medical knowledge regarding telomeres, life extension supplements (resveratrol, NAD+, spermidine, etc.) and epigenetic reprogramming, I believe that age reversal medical treatments is something that will arrive within my lifetime.I'm not a medical professional, but as an IT professional, I do have an analytical mind and a passion about learning new things. In IT, things change quickly and you have to keep up with day to day changes or be left behind.Earlier this year, on Jan 13, 2023, I read about an amazing advance in anti-aging that laboratory mice have had their age reversed using epigenetic reprogramming. I thought it was the most incredible discovery in science in my lifetime, but was disappointed that the news was quickly forgotten by just about everyone. Of course it was a discovery found in mice and needed to be replicated in non-human primates and humans before it's available to the public, but I felt that if this age-reversal treatment worked on a fundamental level in mice, that replicating it in humans was not that far behind.Since then, I've been researching and learning more about life extension and age reversal. Along the way, it was apparent that not only will age reversal medical treatments will be here within my lifetime, but that our society is woefully unprepared for this fundamental change and all the benefits and negatives it will bring. I also realized that just waiting for an age-reversal medical treatment was foolish because there was far more that needed to be done by people to take full advantage of it when it finally arrives.Because of this, I'm passionately working on bringing everything I've learned and still learning to you and others interested in life extension and age reversal. My goal in this Patreon SEMPERNAUTS community is to interview people and companies directly involved in the anti-aging field and bring to you the latest news.
